Engr. Lanre Yusuf MSc, MBA, MNCS, MCPN, MNSE, COREN, is a seasoned Computer Engineer with over 30 years of experience in IT and Identity Management. He holds a BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Civil Aviation Engineering, Kiev, Ukraine, an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, and a Diploma in Computer Programming from The Chubb Institute, New Jersey.
He has led major IT and software projects across various industries in the United States and Nigeria. Since joining the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), he has played a key role in developing Nigeria’s identity infrastructure, overseeing biometric data capture and verification systems.
Lanre Yusuf is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
He currently serves as the Director, Information Technology/Identity Database Department at NIMC.
