James Bura MamzaJames Bura Mamza boasts an impressive educational background, holding three Master’s Degrees, a Post Graduate Diploma, and a Bachelor’s Degree from prestigious institutions like the Nigerian Defense Academy, the Universities of Liverpool, Abuja, and Maiduguri.

With 24 years of experience under his belt, James has had a distinguished career in privatization, management contracts, liquidation, concessions, project finance, and identity management. His professional journey began with stints at the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) and the Infrastructure Bank Plc (TIB) before joining the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) in 2013.

While at NIMC, James took on various roles, including Gombe State Coordinator, Human Capital Management, Head of the Public Private Partnership Unit, Special Assistant to the former Director General/CEO of NIMC, Head of the Inspectorate and Enforcement Unit, and Kano Regional Coordinator. Currently, he serves as the Territorial Director of North Central (TD 5) and Deputy Director.

James’s expertise extends beyond his professional experience, having served on various Federal Government Committees, including Telecoms, Industries, National Facilities, Aviation, and Transport Committees and Sub-Committees. He was also a member of the Committee of Inspection.

A strong believer in continuous learning, James has undergone several training programs within and outside Nigeria. Notably, he was seconded to PricewaterhouseCoopers UK in 2003 and attended the renowned Kofi Anan International Peacekeeping Training Center in Ghana.

On a personal note, James hails from Lassa, Borno State, and is married with three children. He enjoys learning, and travelling and is an avid fan of Manchester United.

He is currently the Territorial Director for the North Central territory.
