Alvan IkokuAlvan Ikoku is NIMC’s Head/Director, Strategy & Program Office.
A public servant par excellence, a problem solver and strategic thinker with a knack for results, he also serves as the focal person and coordinator of the Commission’s strategic collaborations on harmonization & integration with Ministries, Departments & Agencies, he has a wealth of experience from the private and public sector spanning over 28 years.

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the London Bridge Business School. LBBS-UK (Honoris Causa); An M.Sc in Political Economy & Development Studies, from the University of Abuja; An MBA in Business Management from the University of Nigeria; and a B.Sc in Banking & Finance from the University of Nigeria.
He is a member of several professional institutes & associations including: Distinguished Fellow, Africa Institute of Public Administration(DFAI); Fellow, Integrated Institute of Professional Management((FIIPM); Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants(FIMC); Fellow, Centre for Public Service Productivity & Development(FCP); Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria(FCAI); Certified Management Consultant(CMC); Certified Management Professional(CMP); Member, Institute of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators; Associate Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered). He is a United Nations Ambassador for Peace.

Alvan has travelled extensively, a passion he enjoys alongside cooking, photography, researching & playing video games.
He is the father of 3 children.
