The Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS) has partnered with the NIMC to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In line with the tenets of the partnership, the NRCS donated some personal protective equipment to support the Commission’s quest to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NRCS team led by its Northern Region Coordinator, Abubakar Umar Gombe, lauded the Commission for its forthrightness in enrolling the citizens and residents and issuing the National Identification Number (NIN). He emphasised the Commission’s effort to protect its staff and applicants alike against the COVID-19 pandemic, as the motive behind the donation.

The Director-General/Chief Enrolment Officer, Engr. Aliyu A. Aziz, received the items on behalf of the Commission, and thanked the NRCS for the gesture and acknowledged their humanitarian efforts.
